This California Privacy Notice explains how Safeinity collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

2. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Safeinity does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
For clarity, Safeinity does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
3. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the preceding 12 months, Safeinity has collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name, email address, account username, phone number, online identifiers
- Customer records information: billing and account-related contact information
- Internet or network activity information: platform usage logs, device and browser information, security telemetry
- Commercial information: subscription plan details and transaction history
- Geolocation data: coarse location inferred from IP for security and fraud prevention
- Sensitive personal information: account credentials, beneficiary relationship details, and related account security data needed to provide services
4. Business and Commercial Purposes
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Safeinity platform
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Process subscriptions, billing, and account administration
- Provide customer support and service communications
- Deliver core estate management functionality, including beneficiary workflows
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce contractual terms
- Perform service improvement and reliability analysis using first-party analytics
5. Categories of Recipients We Disclose To
Safeinity may disclose personal information for business purposes to:
- Payment processors
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
- Email and SMS delivery providers
- Customer support providers
- Security, logging, and reliability service providers
- Professional advisors supporting legal, compliance, and audit functions
- Government authorities or other parties when legally required
6. Retention
Safeinity retains personal information for no longer than reasonably necessary for disclosed business purposes, including providing services, compliance, dispute resolution, and contract enforcement.
For Safeinity retention purposes, the inheritance period means the post-trigger estate workflow window used to complete beneficiary notifications, access workflows, fraud and security checks, and legal compliance. Unless legal obligations require longer retention, the inheritance period is up to 24 months after trigger activation or account closure related to estate transfer, whichever is later.
7. California Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable exceptions, California residents have the right to:
- Know and Access: request categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, used, disclosed, and retained
- Delete: request deletion of personal information
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information: request limitations where applicable
- Non-Discrimination: receive equal service and price when exercising privacy rights
8. How to Submit a Privacy Request
California residents may submit requests through:
Safeinity verifies requests using information reasonably necessary to confirm identity and protect account security.
Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of California residents if valid authorization is provided and, where required, identity is verified directly with the resident.
9. Response Timing
Safeinity will confirm receipt and respond to requests within the timelines required by California law. If additional time is needed, Safeinity will notify the requestor as permitted by law.
10. First-Party Analytics and Turnstile
Safeinity uses first-party analytics for service performance, reliability, and security monitoring.
Safeinity uses Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-bot and abuse-prevention controls.
Outside of Turnstile, Safeinity does not use third-party cross-site advertising trackers or ad-tech SDKs for behavioral advertising.
11. Changes to This Notice
Safeinity may update this California Privacy Notice from time to time. We will revise the date at the top when material changes are made.
